PubCrawler turns 10!
This months sees the 10th anniversary of the initial publication of PubCrawler in Trends in Genetics. If you are one of the nearly 70,000 registered users you might be interested in some of the trivia listed below.
- Growth:
Active accounts are those that are not suspended and contain queries and results.
- Access:
The pie chart shows where PubCrawler web-pages have been accessed from in 2009 (up until Nov 27th). Overall, users from 152 countries have visited us!
- Schedule:
Sundays is the busiest day with queries for over 33000 accounts being carried out. By comparison, only about 8000 users chose to have their queries executed on Saturdays.
- Support:
Since October 2004 over 1300 requests for support have been dealt with.

PubCrawler is still housed above a pub (much closer than the library!) in the centre of Dublin, Ireland.
